From Bangkok Illustration Fair 2024, not only did I receive a flight ticket to Koh Samui courtesy of Bangkok Airways, but I was also honored to be selected by Avocado Books to collaborate on a very special project — designing the cover and illustrations for the book “Devatas & Devis: The Hindi Gods I’ve Come to Know”, a travel memoir through Indian mythology written by Boss Nicha.
This project has been such a fun and unique challenge, as each chapter required me to bring a different deity to life in a way that’s engaging and makes readers want to explore, pay respects, and connect with each divine figure.
Huge thanks to Avocado Books, a publisher known for their beautiful book covers, for inviting me to be part of this. It was both exciting and a proud moment to see the finished book featured at the book signing during the National Book Fair at Queen Sirikit Convention Center.
