ปี 2021 โควิด19 ทำให้ผมต้องเรียนหนังสืออยู่ที่บ้าน และทำให้มีเวลาทดลองทำงานใหม่ๆ อย่างหนังสั้นเรื่องแรกนี้ เมื่อส่งไปประกวดตามเวทีนักเรียนระดับนานาชาติ ก็ได้รับรางวัลและได้รับคัดเลือกให้ร่วมฉายในเทศกาลภาพยนตร์ต่างๆ ดังนี้

In 2021 the pandemic made me study online at home so I had more time to experiment new work like this first animated short. These are the awards and official selections for the international film festival it got this year.

Prime the Animation! Closure Gala

พิธีปิดงานและประกาศรางวัลเทศกาลแอนิเมชั่น Prime the Animation! New Talent International Festival ครั้งที่ 9 จัดขึ้นที่เมือง Valencia ประเทศ Spain เมื่อวันที่ 30 ตุลาคม 2564 ผลงานแอนิเมชั่นของกาโม่นอกจากจะได้รับคัดเลือกเข้าฉายในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ยังได้รับคัดเลือกให้เป็น Best Young Filmmaker Short Film ถึงไม่ได้ไปรับรางวัลด้วยตัวเอง แต่ก็ส่งคลิปไปกล่าวขอบคุณบนเวทีด้วยครับ

Best Young Filmmakers Short Film presented to my animated short, “A Roadside Story”, at Prime the Animation closure gala in Valencia, Spain. Even I wasn’t there but they had me on video. Thanks to the great festival.

Here is what the judge said about it

A short film made by schoolchildren for an adult audience. With nods to Tarantino’s western road movies, this film, with a good artistic and technical production, takes a risk with its content and could help more filmmakers under the age of 18 to address more diverse audiences.

I told the audience that my work came from the cartoon I watched when I was young and inspiration from my favorite director, Quentin Tarantino.
