เดือนธันวาที่ผ่านมาหลังจากรู้ว่าต้องหยุดอยู่บ้านอีกนานเลยอยากทำโปรเจกต์ซักชิ้น สืบเนื่องมาจากการลองทำอนิเมชั่นหมาวิ่งวนไปเรื่อยๆ แล้วสนุกดี แต่ติดอยู่ตรงที่มันยังไม่ค่อยมีเรื่องราวซักเท่าไหร่ บวกกับไอเดียจากรูปที่วาดเล่นรูปหนึ่ง เป็นภาพของตัวหัวสี่เหลี่ยมยืนโบกรถอยู่กลางทะเลทราย เลยเริ่มคิดเรื่องราวที่มาให้ตัวละครว่ามันมาลงเอยตรงนี้ได้ยังไงทั้งหมดจึงกลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของ “A Roadside Story” Short Animation เรื่องแรกของผม ที่ใช้เวลาทำไปร่วม 4เดือน (เพราะหลังๆเริ่มอู้) เป็นครั้งแรกที่เขียนบท วาด อนิเมทและตัดต่อคนเดียวเลยทำให้รู้ว่าทำการ์ตูนเหนื่อยกว่าที่คิด ครั้งหน้าจะไม่วาดถึง 700เลเยอร์แล้วครับ
In December, when I realized that I have to stay home for a long time, I felt that I had to create a project. The Christmas dog animation last time was fun but there was no story, just a loop dog running. Then I got an idea from my sketchbook, a square-head man is hitchhiking in a desert. I started developing the story of how and why he was there. That was the beginning of my first short animation, “A Roadside Story”. It took me over 4 months to write the script, illustrate and animate all by myself. This was an exhausted project than I thought. Perhaps I wouldn’t make it 700 layers next time.
